The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan

Rick Riordan is one of my favorite authors. So when Mark of Athena came out, I was expecting it to be like, you know, the usual amazing Percy Jackson sort of thing. I was completely wrong. Rick Roirdan not only achieved my expectations for this book, he soared high above them and went beyond. I can't say anything that won't give hints about the book, but I can say this: If you read this book, you will not be disappointed, I promise. Rick writes with alluring and raw talent.
