The Guardian

When Danni receives a pouch for her 13th birthday, she dismisses it for a simple antique. As she grows older, she realizes its protective abilities and magical qualities. When her family is put in a life or death situation and she (and her best friend Rick)  is the only one who can save them, Danni finds that she has more potential than she ever knew, with the help of an old pouch.
