She was different. And none of them liked it. Except maybe Leo.

Stargirl was a different girl, the kind of girl who sang happy birthday to everyone, had a pet rat named Cinnamon, and a ukulele strapped around her shoulder. She is different, and murmurs in their halways, cheering on every team including her own, and shining brightly like a star.

Then suddenly she turns into the weird girl of the school, and is shunned and hated by almost everyone. Leo, who is growing in love with her, begs her to turn normal.

This was a great story with a wonderful lesson:

If you love someone, accept them for who they are.
