Okay, so who hasn't heard of the Hunger Games, right? But seriously, this book deserves a Good Books Review, I swear, even if you do know the storyline and basic plot. The Hunger Games is set in a place called Panem, somewhere once known as North America. It is controlled by the Capital, who is surrounded by 12 districts. Each year every district sends a tribute, a boy and a girl, to the arena, where all 24 compete to the death until there arises one victor that survives. Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her younger sister Prim and goes into the arena. You know all this stuff, right? Well, to get to the point, Katniss finds herself allies with Peeta Melark, and maybe even falling for him. That is the most dangerous thing that she could possibly do in the games if she wishes to survive. Suzanne Collins writes with amazing detail and storytelling. Check out this book.
